Hey! I’m Chase.

I’m the guy who started Incremental Gains, a personal training and nutrition coaching company dedicated to helping high achievers just like you transform their lives through fitness. Seriously, we train like professional athletes and celebrities. Keep reading to learn more.

Here’s a quick snapshot of who I am, what I’m all about, and why you should listen to me.

I was born in Upstate New York, grew up in Raleigh, and have called Chicago my home base since 2013. Traveling the world is my favorite thing to do. I’ve skied the Bavarian Alps in Germany, snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, climbed the Great Wall of China, toured the Colosseum in Rome, kayaked the Mediterranean Sea, and even went skydiving over the Carolina coast among others things. I went to East Carolina University, received degrees in Professional Acting and Business Administration, and now I work as a health and fitness professional.

It makes perfect sense when you connect the dots.

 

A few years ago…

 

I worked at a technology start-up and the majority of my time was spent sitting in front of a computer. This is how I spent my days, and I was miserable. One day, while “zoning out” at work, I noticed something. Everyone around me was facing the same problem, confined to a desk chair and surrounded by temptation (junk food, fast food, sweets, etc.) every single day. It was a lifestyle and an environment holding everyone back from maximizing their health and performance.

Completely unfulfilled by the work I was doing, I realized that I actually had a lot of knowledge and experience when it came to health and fitness. I studied the best training and nutrition practices and put them to the test myself in my 20’s for fun, and saw amazing results. I also learned directly from some of the best minds and coaches in the entire fitness industry, some of whom work with professional athletes and celebrities. Fitness had already transformed who I was as a person at the time, physically and mentally. I knew more about fitness than the stuff I was doing at work. I also knew that I loved teaching people having been a math tutor in college.

The light bulb went off and I quit my job soon after.

popular Chicago gym and within nine months, I was one of the top performing personal trainers in the entire company. But I was still being held back. I had amazing fitness tools and strategies ready to share with my clients (aka Rockstars), but certain policies kept me from doing so. So I bet on myself again, this time parting ways and starting my own personal training and nutrition coaching business, Incremental Gains, LLC.

Starting a business was hard. I faced challenges and made sacrifices on a daily basis. At one point, I had no clue how I would pay my rent or other living expenses, let alone make it in business. Believe me, I know what it feels like to have goals that seem impossible to achieve. I’ve been there and have faced the adversity. But when you truly want something bad enough, you’ll do whatever it takes to succeed. Right?

Since then, I’ve been helping people just like you look, feel, and perform better. It’s been an awesome experience so far.

believing in yourself, trusting the process, and knowing that no matter where you are today, you can get better. Whether you’re brand new or advanced, the same rules apply.
